Bob Cutlip

Founding Principal

Bob is a 28-year real estate veteran with direct experience in suburban and urban office, industrial, and mixed use projects.  Most recently Bob directed the 26-market North American Operations for First Industrial Realty Trust, an industrial REIT with a portfolio value in excess of $3.5 billion. His responsibilities in this position included sourcing and asset management execution for all development projects and building acquisitions, with total investment volumes exceeding $1 billion.  Bob served as a senior executive for Highwoods Properties, Progress Energy and Duke-Weeks Realty.  During his career, Bob’s teams have developed, acquired, leased, and/or sold in excess of 12 million sf of diverse product for the Company balance sheet and with institutional partners.  Project values were as high as $160 million.

 

Bob began his real estate career in Dallas, Texas with Paragon Group as a project manager and was ultimately responsible for P&L operations in Dallas, Colorado, and Phoenix.  At Duke-Weeks, Bob was initially responsible for all development activity in the Southeast and was subsequently assigned P&L responsibility for the Carolinas and Tennesse with revenues in excess of $100 million and portfolio value exceeding $750 million.  He held a similar position at Highwoods Properties.  Bob received his BS degree from the USAF Academy and holds a Masters in Civil Engineering and an MBA in Finance from the University of Southern California.  Bob also served as the National Chairman of the Board of NAIOP.
